Start and finish

The Egmond Halve Marathon both starts and finishes in Egmond aan Zee. All distances begin on Boulevard Noord, located approximately one kilometre from the Sporthal De Watertoren. Clear signage from the sports centre will guide you to the start waves on Boulevard Noord.

Start waves
The start waves are colour-coded to match the colour on your race bib. For recreational runners, start wave assignments are based on your estimated finish time provided during registration. Please note: You are not allowed to start in an earlier group than the one assigned to you. However, you may choose to start in a later group if preferred.

Changing and showering facilities
Participants can change clothes at Sporthal De Watertoren. A limited number of showers will be available in the locker rooms of the sports hall. Business teams will have access to their own heated Business Tent located next to Sporthal De Watertoren.

Bag drop
You can leave your bag at the monitored bag drop tents located in front of the Sporthal De Watertoren. When you drop off your bag, a staff member will place a numbered sticker on your race bib and a matching sticker on your bag. After the race, simply show the sticker on your bib to collect your bag.

Finish

The finish line for the quarter marathon is located on the Zeeweg, directly opposite the main entrance of Hotel Zuiderduin. Participants in the half marathon will finish on Boulevard Noord in Egmond aan Zee.
